Bharath is the winner of Idlebrain.com contest for participating in 50 days function of Happy Days film. He would be flying along with Sekhar Kammula, Varun Sandesh and Soniya in a hot air balloon on the eve of 50 days function to be held in Dallas. Here is the write-up and photos submitted by Bharath. Sekhar Kammula himself handpicked Bharath as the winner.

Below is an email/my experiences which i have sent in earlier.I could compare each and every beautifull scene from happy days to my engineering days.Yes each and every scene.....Here are a few more details of our beautifull college and engineering days.

My Happy Days

Shimoga a place far far away from home(Hyderabad/Nellore) .I dint know that its such a beautifull place until i have landed there on 22nd of june 1998.My first impression/scene i still remember was the Auto going through the gates of our college right to our Tunga Hostel.We had 2 simple and typical engg hostels TUnga and Badhra and a girls hostel out of campus on our way from the Town(shimoga).College is 4 KM away from the town with a small village Navule in between.
As we(me and dad) got down from the Auto i could see 3 elderly guyz sitting out side taking a sneak peek at everyone passing by.I dint know at that time that they are my seniors who will be ragging me starting the very next day.After finishing the joining formalities and introducing me to the seniors(AP) my father has introduced me to a few seniors from hyderabad who has taught me the ragging basics..:).Koncham home sick ani pichindhi..Tunga hostel pakkane ma hostel mess.
As i stepped out of the hostel in to the campus with all of my new friends i could see the different department buildings Electornics,Mechanical,IP,CIVIL , Electrical and then Naa Compu Science block :).Classes start from 10 45 and buses will come at 10 15 and were in the campus right on time to the delight of the seniors.
The buses topped ...sharavthi,badravthi,kumudvathi:) ,These are not girls names but the names of our buses.Endhuku intha mandi wait chestunnara anukunnanu appativaru.Naaku appudey aradhamayindi ah buses vatti buses kadhani Hasinis vachey buses ani..:).
My senior vamsi has asked me to find out the name ,place and which brach one of those hasinis whom he liked.And also he asked me to note down the dress she wears every day etc...THis was my first week duty.Thats is the first time in my life i spoke to a girl in a bold manner..appativaraku amma chatu bidda laa manchiga vunde vadini...:)
Idey bus stop lo 2nd year lo jarigina incident idhi....
Chandu naaku 2 years seniors.Classes ki aslau vellevadu kadhu.Thanaki splender bike vundedhi.Naaku bikes ante chana istam,but intlo bike thappa emanna konistham annaru:).So chanduanna alaram mogey loopu thana bike lo college anthat chuttesi(girls mundu stunt) and butstop lo badhri styles..10 45 kalla bike hostel lo and keys chandu anna table meedha.. One fine day(anukokunda oka rooju) chandu anna 10 ke leesi ready ayyi bus stop lo hero laaga vachi park chesi ,andaraki hai anagaane.Akkade vunna na juniors antha ... "Entanna bharath anna bike teskoni vacheru...." annaru... anthey ventane room ki vachi naaku musugesi.... rey naa ---- tho start chesi picha kottudu kotteru.eh new hostel antha funny gaa cheppu kune vallu....
Inka cheppali ante college day... 3 days jarigedhi...
First day Inagural
2nd day prize distribution.
culturals(dance,skits,songs etc) Rose stall ,balloon stall,choclate stall,gambling stalls anni vundevi.Maximum roses vahcina ammayi rose queen alage balloons vaste balloon queen...chana competition vundedhi ley..
To keep it short i have taken up the following
1)Ragging and Canteen days(Jill Jill Jinga)
2)Cricket(Branch Sports)
3)Jog Falls( Class Trip)
4)Bad Girl(Which We rarely see in your movies)
5)Tyson and Sravs(Anirudh and Sanchitha)
6)Purposefull dayz
So finallly i feel that my character is a mix of Chandu and Rajesh from happy days:)
1)Ragging (Friendship-"Odidhukulalo nilachina nesthamaaa")
Sekhars sirs Happy Dayz:-
Laddu bhai Rajesh(Cuddapah king:)) ni ragging cheyyadam. Chandu,Madhu la Friendship and the senior in between.Chandu and madhu close avvadam.Senior chandu chetha 1000 times madhu na siter ani rayamanadam.And madhu ni dance ki adigithey thanu no ani cheppi chandu tho cheyyadam.Senior ni chandu ni kodithey godva ga maratam.And seniors canteen lo vallani kottabothey Super Seniors aaputharu.Malli seniors ki juniors ki godava itey super seniors eh vachi compromise chestaru(which lead to a cricket match).
Bharaths Happy Dayz:-
Hostel Mess daggara start ayyina ragging ,College busstop daggara classes time ki interval tesukuntadhi.Full name cheppali,sir ani pilavali tho start ayyi ,records rayadam champalu pagaladam tho end ayindhi:).Andhra juniors ni andhra seniors eh rag chestaru and megatha anni states kooda anthey.
Oka Ammayi (Sparsa) Rooju eh dress(color,type etc) vesukuntadho cheppadam eh na duty. Ah ammayi 1 year end ayyasariki naaku chana close ayindhi.Just bcoz of my senior Lalith.2nd Sem lo lalith Sparsa ni thana birthday party ki pilustadu.Dhaniki Sparsa Bharath vastey nenu vastanu ani chepindhi.Ah nite motham nannu restroom lone undamani lalit orders vesedu.
Kalyan(Nenu Chaduvukovadanike vachenu anevadu) Kalyan ni pilichinappudu raledhu and respect ivvatledhu ani just seniors chithaka badeseru.Aaaroju juniors batch antha kalisi principal ki complain cheyyalani decide ayyam.Anthalo city nunchi and hotel nunchi super seniors antha vachi compromise chesi.Inka 2 weeks ragging and then freshers party ani cheppi vellipovadam tho antha cool ayyipoyindi.Final ga karnataka state ki 7th rank lo pass ayyedu kalyan.
Praveen Kukka-ki propose chesi rammante praveen telugu lo nenu ninnu premisthunanu Doggy ani raagane
Seniors:- Idhi eh vooru raa.
Praveen:-Shimoga anna...
Seniors:-Mari adhi kannada kukka raa ,telugu lo chpethe ela ardham ayidhi ani rendu motteru.

Juniors win over seniors and win over ragging.Tyson helps our the team with his inventions(Magic Egg:)) and Sikakulam's Googly.

11 member team lo 7 boys ,3 girls and 1 staff compulsory. Ammayilu adetappudu throw cheyyali..no bowling. And ammayilu 'one over' throw/bowl cheyyadam compulsory.match ki.
Final match (Final Years vs 2nd year students) 4 overs 30 runs to win.nenu and 3 girls matuke migileru.Vallalo vokaru Sparsa.Most of the strike naaku ichi mothaniki match ni gelipinchdam tho college lo baaga famous ayyam.
3)Class Trip
Sekhars sirs Happy Dayz
Chandu,Madhu,Tyson,Rajesh,Appu,Tyson,Sangeetha andharu tour ki veltharu.Full gaa enjoy chestharu and inka close ayyipotharu.And mudhu episode is very intresting and funny.

Tyson and Sravs:_Tyson is the most matured ,bold and intelligent guy in the frens group who falls in luv with his senior Sravs.

Anirudh is our batchmate from kolkatta.Sanchitha maa super senior and Localite.Ragging time lo close avvadam tho anirudh ki 2years crush la vundehi and college antha adhi oh commedy episode laa ayindi.Final gaa sanchitha ki pelli ayyedhaka anirudh baagane try chesedu ..
6)Purposefull dayz(Kaalam Etu Pothunna...)

Farewell ,Campus interviews and the Head of the Department(HOD) giving chandu a direction and telling him about the most purposefull dayz of his life.

Farewell ki Andaram dance chesemu.Nenu solo gaajuvakapilla song ki chesenu.(Pic Attached).We are all well settled now and a part of the College-Alumini and mee laage giving back college something for all those beautiful and memorable moments it has given us!!

Thanks a lot for bringing back our college dayz which would never have been possible otherwise.This 30th is my wedding in Nellore and will watch happy dayz again after my wedding with sparsa!!!.If not here i will meet you for sure Sekhar Sir.I wanted to come invite you for my wedding.
