The Inauguration ceremony of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Montebello in the heart of Los Angeles, CA was performed with utmost devotion and dedication on Sunday the 21st January 2007. The temple is now open for all the Sai devotees.

Starting with Ganapathi Puja at 9.35 AM the holy event was continued by Bhoomi Puja, Punyahavachanam, Ashta Dikpalaka Puja, Nava Graha Puja, Samprokshana, Baba Pratima Sthapana (Photo), Homam, Madhyana Aarthi, Mahaprasaadam, Dhup Aarthi and Shej Aarthi. There was maximum number of Sai devotees during the Madhyana Aarthi and everyone participated with a lot of devotion and religious fervor.

Several devotees started coming to the Temple premises early in the morning with a lot of enthusiasm from all around Southern California and San Jose area. Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan volunteers worked with perfect planning and coordination which was highly commended by the all devotees who attended the ceremony. Puja proceedings, temple decoration, event management including parking were altogether very well organized. Food was sponsored by Chakra Creative Cuisine of India, Irvine and Beverly Hills.

It was a very big event with more than 1000 Sai Devotees enchanting ‘Om Sai Shri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai’ all through the Inauguration program. All the devotees felt very happy to be a part of this historic celebration with the blessings of Shri Shidi Sai Baba.
