Following the tradition of treating guests like Gods, Telugu Association of North Texas (Tantex) lived up to the standards once again.
In a grand function sponsored and organized by Dr. Alla Srinivas Reddy, the famous local heart specialist, music enthusiast and a literary lover, multiple notable local Telugu personalities gathered together for a festive night along with Tantex leadership and executive committee members to felicitate Singer Sunita and group. The "Sunita Musical moments" program which was a grand success and a main attraction during Tantex's Deepavali vedukalu was celebrated during the vibrant night Pasand Indian restaurant in Richardson Texas. Pasand also won hearts of all the Telugu people who attended the Deepavali function with scrumptious dinner.
It was an evening to remember for all the people attended a rare occasion of bringing and honoring of all the team members of a very talented team lead by director V.N.Aditya, who is the lynchpin behind the successful USA tour of music stats Sunita and Srikrishna, comedians Venu and Venkat and the live orchestra experts like Chinna on piano ..(Include all names here). Function was also graced with presence of Thotakura Prasad, Ram Yelamanchili, Gunukula Srinivas and chandrasekhar reddy and venkatarama reddy.
The evening was kicked-off on a jovial note my M.V.L Prasad, telugu literary expert and well respected Telugu leader, by commenting on "Gongura biryani" with added humor from Pudur Jagadeeswaran.
Tantex president Dr. Korsapati Sridhar then addressed the group by welcoming the guests of honor and the other invitees. The passion behind the meeting, Dr. Alla Srinivas Reddy, then spoke at length about each artist, giving them accolades for a job well done. He assured many more such tours for Sunita and team. Tantex joint secretary Suresh Manduva, provided the statistics about the musical concert, outlining the feedback from various channels.
While enjoying the feast like dinner arranged by Pasand Indian restaurant, one of the best restaurants in DFW metroplex, the guests enjoyed great interactive speeches by director V.N.Aditya, Sri Krishna and Sunita. Sri Krishna and Sunita presented in their melodious voices, couple of songs to cherish for ever. Venu and Venkat produced stomach winding comedy for brief periods of time to entertain the guests. Sunita's childhood friend, local music teacher Meenakshi Anipindi gave a melodious lalitha sangitham to grace the occasion and to wrap up the night. |
