Synopsis:
Eros deals with three short films directed by directors of different countries exploring the concept of love/sex.

1. The Hand (Korean): The story of this film is about the relationship between a courtesan and her tailor. The tailor is fascinated by the prostitute when he meets her professionally for the first time  .He falls in love with her and takes care of her even when she becomes poor.

The entire film has a gloomy look and depicts true love. This short film is very well executed by Hong Kong based director Wong Kar Wai.

2. Equilibrium (English): The story of this film is about the dreams of a salesman. He dreams of a beautiful strange woman. He consults a voyeuristic psychiatrist who puts him into a spell while continuing his voyeurism through the window.

The entire movie is a conversation between the salesman and the psychiatrist. Their conversations are shot in black and white whereas the dreams are shown in blue colour. It is an OK kind of film directed by Steven Soderbergh.

3. The Dangerous Thread of Thing (Italian): A married couple is going through a bad relationship. They are unable to connect with each other anymore. The man has an affair with another woman.

The story of the film is quite unappealing. This film is directed by the Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni. I found this short film boring.

What is good in the film?
If you happen to get this DVD, The Hand, a short film is a must watch. Equilibrium can be watched if you have nothing else to do. You can skip the third short film.
