Synopsis:
Sondra (Scarlett Johansson) is an enthusiastic journalism student. Sid (Woody Allen) is an aged and wily magician. When Sondra visits his magic show, she volunteers to go into the magic box. There she confronts a major deceased journalist's spirit who hints her a scoop to investigate. The scoop is that Peter (Hugh Jackman) is a serial killer who leaves tarot cards as his signature after killing short haired brunette prostitutes. The rest of the story is about whether she uncovers the scoop or not with the help of Sid.

What I liked in the film?
This is a typical Woody Allen kind of film with maverick ideas and creativity. His funny dialogues and stuttering delivery are cool. The way a hot bomb like Scarlett Johansson portrayed in different shade as a serious journalist student is good.

What I did not like in the film?
The latter part of the film is not exciting enough and is predictable.

The scenes I liked

1. Woody Allen plays father and he asks his daughter Scarlett to drown herself in pool so that she catches the attention of Hugh Jackman. Meantime, he pretends like he has gone to drink a cup of coffee. After Hugh rescues Scarlett, Woody Allen comes back and utters 'I was in the lounge, I heard you drowning, I finished my tea and scones and came immediately! '.
