Story

There are four unemployed graduates namely Venkat (Vineeth), Ravi (Ravi Teja), Balu (Ali) and Venu (Siva Reddy). For the past five years, they are been wasting their time by doing eve-tease and other unconstructive things. Soon they become an embarrassment for their parents.

Anjali (Meena) is a Gemini photographer and this foursome teases her heavily. Their crude behavior does not offend her and she teases them again. After 40 minutes of dilly-dallying, they call for a truce and this foursome settle as thick friends with Anjali. She spots a talent each in them and asks them to channelize their energies in that direction. Venkat is a good poet. Balu is a good cook. Ravi is a champ at bike riding. Venu is good at mimicry. As these guys never moved close to any other girl in their past, they mistook her friendly affection as love. Each guy feels that she loves him.

On Anjali's birthday, this foursome pools some gifts by stealing stuff from their respective houses. When Anjali comes to know about that she acts tough and tells them to make a living for themselves instead of burdening their poor parents. Each guy proposes to her in isolation and she accepts all the proposals and promises that she would marry them if they start living on their own.

The rest of the story is about how these guys become responsible youth. The icing on the cake would be the marriage at the end. If you want to know the ending, you got to watch this entertaining, sentimental, inspirational and emotional film on the big screen amidst the crowds.

Performances:

Artists:

Prakash Raj: The real hero of this film is Prakash Raj. He has done a superb controlled performance in this film. His dialogue delivery is impeccable and has got the right timing. His histrionics are very different from his regular monotonic action. His get-up is very realistic and one can really identify him with most of the fathers in our middleclass society, who gets restless upon observing son being idle and jobless.

Sai Kumar: He acted as son of Prakash Raj in that film and has got 20 minutes of screen presence in the flashback episode. After seeing that film, one would realize why he accepted a 20 minutes role in a low-budget film in spite of being a mainstream regular mass hero. He is in his elements and epitomizes the frustration and helplessness of unemployed graduates going through in India who faces the wrath both at home and outside home.

Meena: Meena did play a character of liveliness. She did well with in the scope of the character. Thankfully, she was shown in a respectable mode without making her wear any revealing dresses.

Foursome: Ali, Ravi Teja, Siva Reddy and Vineeth come in this order in terms of performances. Ali did extremely well and is the cynosure of all eyes. Ravi Teja came up with another casual-action oriented role, which he did with élan. Siva Reddy, who acted as a pimp of Maruti Omni Van in Bachelors film, sprang a surprise with his good histrionics in this film. His dances are good too.

Technical Departments:

Screenplay & direction: I was attracted by Muppalaneni Siva work in films like 'Priya O Priya' and Raja. He displayed the same kind of poise and temperament in mixing sentiment with comedy and making an entertainer out of the serious subject chosen. He is good at doing serious films with thin story line by injecting good underlying comedy.

Dialogues: Another highlight of the film is the dialogue department. The dialogues evoke right kind of emotions in the right scenes. Marudhuri Raja has given dialogues for this film.

Music: Music is complementary in this film. The song 'BA lu chadivina …' is the highlight of the film and is in the texture of T Krishna style. Vandemataram has done a neat job for the production house that has given him a chance as a singer for Vendemataram film.

Production: Pokuri Babu Rao, who has given very good message oriented films in the past in the association of T Krishna, did not compromise on this film too. He had problems in the film getting released due to lack of buyers. He released the film on his own in most of the areas and is reaping the benefits now.

Analysis: The theme of the film is well conceived. Basically every human being is gifted with the equal amount of energy. It depends on the individuals about how they utilize it. Most of the people tend to use that energy in the negative direction. The guys who channelized their energies and use it in the positive direction will come up in the life. Not everyone is self-motivated enough to channelize one's energy. Some people want a materialistic goal as an inspiration. In this film Anjali provided 'love and marriage' as the inspiration to these foursome and made them someone out of none.

First half of the film is full of fun and frolic. The second half tends to become little serious before ending up with a superb climax. This film is recommended for all educated movie lovers.
