(Navdeep) is a Merc-driving rich youngster. Sindhu (Poonam)
is a middle-class girl with a nagging step mother and
a meek father. Sreeram is impressed by Sindhu at the
first sight. He gets acquainted with her and helps her
out with her problems. In the process, she misunderstands
him. The rest of the film is all about how the destiny
guides this couple into nuptial knot on the same day
Navdeep is pretty handsome and he emoted with utmost
zeal and enthusiasm. He has got a nice diction and a
flexible body. Debutant heroine Poonam is first-rate
with South Indian looks. Among the comedians Krishna
Bhagavan takes the top honor as a person craving for
publicity through TV channels. Sunil also impresses
with his Balu pants and Pawan Kalyan's imitation. Tanikella
Bharani plays a vital role as heroine's uncle. Rallapally
essayed the role of an astrologer who changes the course
of the story. Ravi Prakash is good. Gay comedy
involving Raghubabu is bit repulsive.
- Screenplay - dialogues - direction: The basic
point of destiny guiding a couple who just met into
wedlock within a few hours is interesting. But the director
tried to inject more comedy element (though is pretty
hilarious in a couple of tracks) than what is necessary.
The basic point of destiny playing a role in matching
the couple is also not strongly established. Venkat
Kuchipudi definitely has knack for good picturization
of songs and the right timing for comedy sequences.
Certain satirical dialogues pointing Prasads Multiplex,
Maichael Jackson, Daivagna Sharma, TV channels etc are
wonderful. A few continuity issues should have been
taken care of.
Music by Swaraj deserves special commendation. All the
songs in this film are good in their own way. Wonderful
lyrics by Sirivennela add more strength to the music.
My personal favorite song in terms of picturization
and placement is 'Neeke Nuvvu' rendered by Shreya Ghoshal.
The songs shot in Sikkim are a treat to eyes.
departments: The main highlight of this film is
excellent cinematography by Sameer K Reddy. Fights by
Ram Lakshman are adequate though the first bike act
is inspired by Dhoom film. Choreography by Shankar is
good (especially Taka Chuku song). Editing is adequate.
Production values by Abhisatvika Creations are good.
First half of the film is adequate with ample comedy.
The second half which deals with the main story was
not handled well. Climax of the film is very predictable.
The plus points of the film are lead pair, photography,
music and comedy by Krishna Bhagawan and Sunil. The
major drawback of the film is insufficient establishment
of the main thread of the film.
