Gudipoodi Srihari Review

tell a friend

While the title is intended to arouse curiosity, the concept is to serve humor with a dash of romance. EVV is known for such projects.

He is a maker of romantic of comedies, at times romance tending to be vulgar. This film too has such dose towards the end, when all the important characters converge to wed. The jobs undertaken by three friends - played by Allari Naresh, Prabhudeva and Sunil - look outlandish. Prabhudeva, known for such comedies, is roped in to play a similar role. Naresh, EVV's son, runs the main show.

Sunil, known for loud comedy is the third artiste who constitutes the title, which means 'good-for-nothing fellows'.

The jobs chosen for these three friends are odd-dog catching, cremation services and so on. Why they chose such line? "Because, nobody would give them any other job," says one of them. Like in Hollywood films EVV gives them a separate uniform and equipment, including sedating the dogs.

The early part of the film deals with some profession hazards as a source of humor, But is weak in dialogue part.

Sunil's comedy, which normally survives by his repartee, suffers the most. Naresh on the other hand, keeps his voice mellowed for some a strange reason.

Part of the hilarity is due to the presence of Brahmanandam who plays a dual role - of grandmother and son - the mother to marry and give an heir to the property.

Brahmanandam and other comedians M.S. Narayana, L.B. Sriram, AVS try to add their bit to kick up some good humor here and there.

The female roles are kept equally active. They even dominate in certain parts of the drama. Gazala is in the lead role and Anitha in an equally important one.

Music director Devisri Prasad's background score' is better than is songs.
