21 prints in Krishna
Krishna district has become the bastion of NTR. The buyers used to summon a maximum of 8 prints till the release of Aadi. Aadi was the first film to be released with 11 prints. It ran for 100 days all 11 centers it was released in. Later on Simhadri created another record by releasing with 16 prints for the first time and it ran for 100 days in all centers. Now it's the turn of Andhrawala to release with a breath taking number of 21 prints. Andhrawala is releasing in 1st time release centers like Bantumalli, Agiripally and Gampalagudem. Simhadri ran for 175 days in 8 centers which is an all time district record for entire AP.

22 prints in Guntur
Earlier highest number for Guntur area was 14 prints. But Andhrawala is releasing with 22 prints. It has first time centers like Vetapalem, Bapatla, Inkollu, Peda Kakani. It is releasing in 4 theaters in Guntur city like Gowry Shankar, Bhaskar Deluxe, Harihar Mahal and Jyothi Mahal. Exhibitors of most of C centers - where a hit film would be released after completion of 100 days - in Guntur area are paying hires ranging from 3 lakhs to 5 lakhs. The exhibitor of Addanki paid 5 lakhs (earlier highest was 4 lakhs). The Inkollu exhibitors paid 2 lakhs in a center where a film collects hardly Rs. 30,000/-. The expected gross for the day one in this center is 1 lakh.

Andhrawala - 1st Telugu release in Pondicherry
Andhrawala entered the annals of Telugu cinema history as the first film releasing in the Union Territory of once upon a time French Colonial place Pondicherry. Andhrawala would be the first Telugu film releasing in Yanam (Pondicherry), which basks on the borders of Vizag.

U certificate for Andhrawala
The AP Film Censor board has awarded U certificate for Andhrawala film on 26th of December. A few slang abuses in Hindi were objected by the censored board which were corrected by the producer later.

300+ prints and 450+ theaters
The demand for prints is increasing day by day as the D-day is approaching. The final print number is expected to cross 300. The number of theaters are increasing everyday for this film. Even in small centers like Aija in Nizam, two theaters are going to screen Andhrawala. For the first time in the history of Nizam, a film is releasing in more than 110+ theaters. In all centers of Godari districts, more number theaters are being taken for the exhibiton because the collectors of these districts issued a firm guidelines to control number of shows, ticket rates, black marketing etc. To generate more revenues in the first week, the distributors increased number of theaters phenomenally, as each theater would be screening only 4 shows a day. The expected theater count is 450+.

100 feet width vinyl banner by a fan for Apsara, Vijayawada
Raj Kumar Kaza - a fan of NTR - is arranging a 11 feet x 100 feet vinyl banner covers the width of Apsara theater in Vijayawada. Incidentallym, this banner is the widest vinyl banner for any Telugu film.

First official print in Coimbattore
Telugu films were released in Coimbattore earlier. But all those prints were unofficial prints where producer does not get any royalty. For the first time in the history of Coimbattore, a producer is releasing an official print. The negotiations are on with Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi theater complex. And Andhrawala would be screened in one of these theaters. For the starters, Coimbattore has a very high population of Telugu people.

First Telugu film in DTS & Dolby
DTS and Dolby are the most popular sound systems prevailing in entertainment industry. We have seen numerable Telugu films released in either DTS or Dolby. For the first time in the history of Telugu cinema, a Telugu film (Andhrawala) is being digitally mastered in both DTS and Dolby EX sound systems. The producer paid royalties to both these companies for using their sound formats.

First DTS theatrical trailer in Telugu film industry
Theatrical trailers are rare commodity for Telugu films. With such kind of craze for big heroes, there is no necessity for any producer to release a theatrical trailer. But the producer got a trailer done that encapsulates scenes from audio function and visuals of songs and fights. And in addition to this he spent around Rs. 1 lakh to get it in DTS format. Around 200 trailers were released and sent to the theaters playing Shivamani to screen these trailers.

Price slash for Satyam complex in Chennai
The tickets of Andhrawala are selling at rapid pace at all counters including other states like Tamil Nadu. This film is releasing in Satyam complex and the tickets were sold out for the first 5 days. Since it's a mass film, the producer Giri has taken a conscious decision to slash the price of higher class from Rs 50/- to Rs 40/- so that he could attract more masses to the theaters. A Telugu film is releasing with 6 prints for the first time in Tamil Nadu in the form of Andhrawala.
