SS Rajamouli and some of the crewmembers of ‘Vikramarkudu’ team were injured in a confrontation held at shooting location in Rayadurga (near Hyderabad). When the unit was shooting vital scenes at the quarry, the quarry manager asked the unit to leave the location. The minor confrontation resulted into a big fight when owner of the quarry instigated the quarry workers to assault the unit. The workers threw big stones on the unit.

The injured unit members including director Rajamouli were admitted into Apollo hospital. Rajamouli has hairline fracture on his hand. All the unit members are out of danger and are safe. During this confrontation, most of the production equipment is either damaged or stolen. The producer has launched a formal complaint against quarry owner and workers at Nanakramguda police station.
