Jet
audio review of Gudumba Shankar
Mani
Sharma has become routine these days with predictable and typical
tunes. Gudumba Shankar is one album that has entirely different
and fresh tunes from Mani Sharma with certain bias towards melody
and class orientation. Over all it is a good album from Pawan
Kalyan without having too much of experiments.

Le le le le
KK
Chandrabose
Comments: An inspirational song written by Chandrabose
in his typical style. |
2.
Chigurakuchatu Chilaka
SP Charan, Sujatha
Sirivennela
Comments: Good melody duet. |
3.
Chilakamma Mukkuki
Karthik, Srivardhani, Hanumantha Rao
Chandrabose
Comments: Starting with a raga, this tunes turns
into mass mode. Lyricist Chandrabose jumps into philosophy
again! |
4.
Chitti Nadumune
Mallikharjuna Rao, Premji
Sirivennela
Comments: Cool class song. A solo song that describes
the plight of a guy who is smitten by a girl. Sirivennela
chooses to start the lyric with the most sensuous and favorite
part of the Telugu girl's anatomy 'nadumu'. The rapping
in this song is good. |
5.
Emantaro
SP Charan, harini
Chandrabose
Comments: Another great melodious class song. SP
Charan and Harini's voices add more feel to this song. This
tune is probably one of the best class tunes Mani Sharma
came up with in the recent times. |

Killi Killi
Mallikharjun
Master Ji
Comments: Song starts with Pawan Kalyan's crooning
his favorite 'labolabo' lyric he used in Tammudu film he
used while teasing Mallikharjuna Rao. Starting of the tune
is pretty interesting. The entire song has the same background
beat except for small interludes. |
My
personal favorite song in this album: Emantaro
Prediction:
Unlike the mass title, the songs have soft/class orientation.
Hence, the songs would have longevity and would catch up a big
time after a few hearings.
Note:
This review is a quick note about the songs after listening
to it for the first time. Wait for the complete review of Sreya
Sunil soon.
