Devi
Vara Prasad who produced films like Chattamtho Poratam,
Kondaveeti Raja, Manchidonga, Ghanara Mogudu, Alluda Majaka,
Mrigaraju with Chiranjeevi is presenting a film, which
is going to be produced by his daughter Kumari Devi Aiswarya
on Aiswarya Creations banner. Srikanth would act in this film,
which is going to be directed by Venky of 'Kabaddi Kabaddi'
fame. This film would go on floors in the month of January
2004 and is expected to release for the summer of 2004. 50%
of this film would be shot in abroad. There would be two heroines
in this film.
Speaking
on this occasion, Devi Vara Prasad said that the total film
is being planned by his daughter Devi Aiswarya who is interested
in filmmaking right from her childhood. In fact, it was Aiswarya
who met the writers and directors for listening to the stories
and finally fixed up on Venky as the director. Devi Vara Prasad
said that he would be doing at least two movies per year on
his regular banner 'Devi Films'.
Producer
Aiswarya said that film production is a natural choice for
her as she comes from a filmy family where her father and
grandfather are producers. Venky is finalized as the director
much before the release of 'Kabaddi Kabaddi' film. Speaking
about her choice of hero as Srikanth, she said that she got
very close to Ooha (Srikanth's wife) while making the movie
'Alluda Mazaka'. She said that she refers to Ooha as akka
and she is Srikanth's family friend. Srikanth would be playing
a role of different dimension in this film.
