Gemini Television’s Super hit Soap Sundarakanda which enchants its loyal viewers every Monday to Friday @ 6.30 PM successfully reached 300th episode milestone. On this occasion the soap is going to be re launched by grippingly integrating a new twist in the plot, which will certainly interest the viewers.

A brief synopsis on what is going to come in the all new SUNDARAKANDA:-

The wheel of life is taking a complete turn. Those who were in top come down and those who were below, come up.

Nethra Devi, which means the God of Eyes – the transformed Sneha, enters Rajolu.

Nethra, has an eye on everything. Now she has money and power. Nethra has arrived to do all those things which Sneha could not do. Whatever this society did to Sneha, will be questioned by Nethra. Wrong people will be put in their right place. Good will prevail, evil will be destroyed. There are no sentiments for this eye. Father, mother, brother , sister, husband, friend - everyone is same. No emotions attached.

Whole world is out to prove that she is Sneha. But nothing could prove. She is not the same. Own mother and father start believing that she is not Sneha. The people who terrorised her, approach her for her friendship and acquaintance now. Nethra has newer problems now in the form of Iswari Venkatappa, the land mafia don and Pavithra who thinks she is the wife of Ajay and tries to save him from Nethra without knowing the danger she is in, and trying to create troubles for Nethra.

In the course of her new avatar, Nethra fulfills her duty in unearthing the Defence scam money secret for which Jayashree is the appointed Interpol Officer for the case. The story also has unexpected twists like Ajay getting some rude shock of his life, which changes him completely.

But all this is not going to be smooth ride for Nethra - she has to face several hurdles which come along her way. In spite of all the hurdles, the journey of this woman is out to prove the world that she is not the Sita of Ramayana who silently underwent all the tortures which was the crux of Sundaraakanda of Valmiki. But she is Sita of Kaliyuga - the one who will fight against her odds and come out victoriously and prove that an Indian woman can transform even criminals to realise their mistake and turn them good citizens, if she decides. This is the ' Sundaraakanda ' of Kaliyug.

For the role of Nethra, Sujitha, the lead artiste who plays the role of Sneha, has been given a complete transformation to the look - including her costumes, hairstyle and body language. Leading hair stylists and Costume specialists have worked on the new look of Nethra.
