Record share of 61.98 lakhs for 7 days in Krishna area
Jai Chiranjeeva created a record as the highest share collector of first week by collecting a share of 61.78 lakhs for Krishna area. Earlier highest share record was held by Shankar Dada MBBS (54.07 lakhs). Jai Chiranjeeva was released in 21 theaters of 16 centers in Krishna territory.

90 lakhs share in Vizag territory
Jai Chiranjeeva collected a share of 90.18 lakhs (with hires) in Vizag territory for 7 days by playing in 41 theaters, as per KVR Prasad (Janapriya Film Distributors).

68 lakhs share in Guntur
Jai Chiranjeeva collected a gross of 82.54 lakhs and a share of 68 lakhs in Guntur territory. It created Guntur town record by collecting a share of 13.98 lakhs by releasing in 5 theaters. In Ongole town too, it created record by collecting a share of 7.38 lakhs in Tulsiram (7 days) and BVS (2 days).

Chiranjeevi’s Jai Chiranjeeva collected a share of 62 lakhs in 6 days in Vizag territory. The hiked prices in Vizag city are expected to be continued in the next week as well as the exhibitors preferred hiking the price for 2 weeks continuously even before the release of the film.

57.5 lakhs shares in 5 days in Guntur
Jai Chiranjeeva collected a share of 57.5 lakhs in 5 days in Guntur territory. The ticket rates in Hollywood and Bollywood theaters in Guntur were brought back to normal rates today. The ticket rates in other theaters were expected to be bought back to normal fares from the 2nd week onwards.

Jai Chiranjeevi collected a share of 22.25 lakhs on day one, which is highest ever as per KVR Prasad, Janapriya Films. This film was released in 41 centers. In Anakapally, Kothavalasa and Cheepurupally, Jai Chiranjeeva collected a gross of 2 lakhs, 1 lakh and 1 lakh respectively.

26 lakhs in Guntur
For Guntur territory, Jai Chiranjeeva collected a share of 26 lakhs by releasing in 26 theaters. In Guntur town itself, this film opened in 5 theaters. Mohini Films of Vizag distributed Jai Chiranjeeva for Guntur territory. This is also a records.

Happy trailer in USA JC prints
A 1.30 min trailer of Happy is added to all 11 prints of Jai Chiranjeeva that are going to be screened across USA from 21st of December. This trailer is exclusively made with the targeted USA audiences in mind where Allu Arjun promises to entertain them and relive memories of home in the film.

Anthony edits two songs in JC
Hotshot editor Anthony (Gharshana & Ghazani fame) did edit two songs of Jai Chiranjeeva. Anthony is known for his sharp and trendy editing of songs. These two songs are said to be a real treat to the movie lovers.

JC's red-carpet premiere at Prasads
Rhythm Mediaworks is arranging the red carpet premiere of Chiranjeevi's latest film Jai Chiranjeeva at 10:30 pm at Prasads multiplex. Incidentally, Aswini Dutt arranged a premiere of Indra film too at Hi-Tech theater a night before the release of the film. The who and who of Telugu film industry are expected to grace this exciting event.

Prasads admission rate hiked to 100
The admission rate of Prasads multiplex for Jai Chiranjeeva is hiked by 66% from Rs. 60/- to Rs. 100/-. The ticket rates for other theaters have been hiked from Rs. 35/- to Rs. 60/- in Hyderabad.

Vizag makes it e-Seva compulsory
Vizag's joint collector Sandeep Kumar issued a notification that all the tickets for Jai Chiranjeeva! should be compulsorily bought at e-Seva centers. The ticket rates have been hiked to 70 in all 8 theaters in Vizag city. The movie lovers need to pay an extra Rs. 5/- as service charge per ticket which would directly go to the government. Not even a single ticket would be sold at ticket counter of the theaters playing Jai Chiranjeeva! The fans usually get a quota of tickets every time their hero's film releases. But this time, there is no preferential treatment given to fans due to notification from the joint collector.

No special shows in Guntur
The joint collector of Guntur has given orders not to have special shows of Jai Chiranjeeva on the morning of 21st of December. Generally, there would be 8 am special show for all big heroes in Guntur. The ticket rates in Hollywood/Bollywood complex are hiked from Rs. 40/- to Rs 70/-.
