Maichael Madana Kamaraju is the title confirmed for Nidhi Prasad’s latest film featuring Srikanth and Charmme. Prabhudeva, Srikanth and Sunil are doing the roles of Maichael, Madana and Kamaraju respectively. Idlebrain.com met Nidhi Prasad for getting more information about the film -

Film progress
We started the film in October by doing first schedule at Mumbai. Then we had our second schedule in Goa in November. We shot the 3rd schedule in December in Hyderabad. Then we shifted Vizag in February to complete the film in 4th schedule. We shot the climax of the film in Vizag. The shooting of the film is over and postproduction work is going on in full speed. The music will be launched this month and we are aiming for the release in April.

Story
This film is basically a love story between Srikanth and Charmme. And the entertainment arises due to comedy of errors between the characters of Srikanth, Prabhudeva and Sunil. I am fan of Kamal Hassan’s Maichael Madana Kamaraju film. Though there is no similarity of this story to that film, I adapted the characters names. It is a original script and it does not have any resemblance to Hindi/English films like my earlier two films.

It is a simple story with lighter vein treatment. It is an entertainment based film from the first scene to the last scene. We also spent a lot on the film. Kota’s performance in this film is going to standout.

About casting
Srikanth: Srikanth gave me a break as director with Nidhi film without even testing my credentials. It was a failure. He also accepted this film without even listening to the story. He is hot now with hits like Operation and Duryodhana and Yamagola. I am sure that I will make up with time by giving a hit to him.

Charmme: This character needs a glamorous girl with Telugutanam. And Charmme is the best alternative for us.

Prabhudeva: His role has negative shades. And I am sure that no Telugu hero would do that role. Prabhudeva accepted this role though he is busy as the director. He did it because I am his friend.

Sunil: Sunil is one of the busiest comedians around and he gave 30 days for this project by adjusting his date.
