titles could kill
The title of latest Kalyani's film is 'Maa aavida naa pellam kaadu'.
With these kinds of titles of premarital life and wives, certain
Telugu filmmakers are trying the grab attention. Another title

hope that the producers keep as much as efforts on making films
compared to what they show on keeping titles.

20
extra prints for Gowri
When Telugu film industry is going to slump, here is one film
that has added 20 prints after the release. This film was not
released directly in Cudappah town due to non-availability of
a decent theater. By releasing 14 days late, Sumanth's Gowri collected
an impressive share of 4.35 lakhs in seven days in single theater
of Cudappah. The other reason for increasing prints is to counter
the video piracy by making the film reach as many movie lovers
as possible before pirated VCD storms the market.
Rampant
video piracy in Karnataka
Due to the 7-week moratorium for the direct release of non-Kannada
films in Karnataka, the pirated VCDs of latest Telugu films are
rampantly storming the market. Around 50,000 pirated VCDs including
that of latest releases Arjun and Gowri were found in go-downs.
The Telugu film lovers are also happily lapping them up as they
can't wait for 7 weeks to watch the latest films in theaters.
A few cable networks aired recently released Arjun film in Bangalore
as well. Let us wish that Karnataka government would put an end
to this chaotic situation and lift moratorium on non-Kannada films
as soon as possible.

Babu's film from 1st Oct

It is very difficult for any director to convince Jagapati Babu

Dubbing
for Sairam in 143
After getting stringent criticism from all quarters about the
own dubbing of Sairam Shankar for 143 film, Puri Jagan has corrected
it by making music director Sri dub the voice of Sairam Shankar
for 143 film. Sri has given his dubbing voice to the actor Akash
(Anandam fame) earlier. We have to wait and see if this changed
dubbing would make world of good to 143 or not!
