Nallamalupu Bujji attacked
Film producer Nallamalupu Bujji - who is producing Lakshmi with Venkatesh as hero - was attacked tonight when he was returning from the shoot at Nanakram Guda Studios. He was attacked by around 15 rowdies. He was later admitted in Apollo Hospital in Banjara Hills. As per the sources of idlebrain.com, 8 of his 10 fingers were fractured. And his head was injured. Shooting of Mahesh Babu's next film in the direction of Puri Jagan would start on 1st October. This film would be releasing for March 2006. Political Rowdy and Chatrapati clash on 28th September
Mohan Babu's Political Rowdy and Prabhas's Chatrapati are set to release on the same day - 28th September. Audio of Political Rowdy would be releasing on 11th of this month and would hit the market by 12th. Political Rowdy is a remake of Tamil blockbuster Adi Thadi. Chatrapati has hotshot director Rajamouli (with three consecutive hits in his kitty) directing it.

Vishnu as Babloo?

Film director Ravi Raja Pinisetty's son is going to be introduced as hero very soon. As per the unconfirmed reports, this film would be produced by writer Chinni Krishna, Deva - a Tamil director - would direct this film. This film is expected to be launched on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.

Magadheera for December
The unit of Magadheera completed it's 1st schedule in USA and returned to India. The unit would be going again for another schedule in Hollywood. This film has Kamal Hassan and Jyothika playing main leads. Srihari is doing an important character. Gowtam Menon (Cheli and Gharshana fame) is directing this film. Harris Jayaraj scores music. Sivaji's film announced
Heor Sivaji announced a project in the direction of Shyam Prasad. Dhool film which is supposed to be produced by Kishore Rathi and directed by Shyam Prasad took the backseat. YVS Chowdary's modern Devadas is all set to release in the 1st week of October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami. Ram and Ileana are doing main leads in this love story. Sunil and Arti in Andala Ramudu
Comedy star Sunil and Arti Agarwal would be playing main leads in a comedy film titled Andala Ramudu. This film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster Sundarapurushan. RB Chowdary, NV Prasad and Paras Jain would jointly produce this film on Mega Supergood Films Private Limited banner. This film would go to floors on Vijayadasami and would be releasing in February 2006.

Subbu producers bag Jogi rights
Srinivas and Hari Kumar who produced Subbu and currently producing Mahanandi with Sumanth and Srihari have acquired the Telugu remake rights of Kannada blockbuster Jogi. They are planning to make this film with a big Telugu hero on RS Productions banner.

Watching Athadu film seems to be the latest fad that is being religiously followed by Telugu film lovers in USA. The exhibitors too seem to have got seriously inflicted with it. Athadu film is going to be screen for 3rd time in Virginia for on 11th September. One dollar from each ticket would go to Katrina relief fund.

Three music directors for Shock
As per the unconfirmed news, three different and relatively new music directors would compose two tunes each for Shock that is being produced by Ram Gopal Varma. The same experiment was done for Ram Gopal Varma's latest film James as well. Haresh, who assisted Ram Gopal Varma for Sarkar film is directing Shock. Ravi Teja and Jyothika are paired up in this film.

Laya interested in MS in USA
Laya is touring various cities of AP along with the team of Adirindayya Chandram for promoting the film. In chitchat with local scribes, Laya said that she is not having any offers at present. She is doing her final semester of MCA in Open University. She is also considering the option of going for higher studies in USA if her situation in Telugu film industry continues so.

Telugu films brawl in NJ
Three Telugu films are going to be vying for the attention of Telugu film lovers in New Jersey area this weekend. These films are Anukokunda Oka Roju, A Film by Aravind and Nuvvante Nakistam. Incidentally all these films are small films. Let us hope that the distributors and exhibitors would plan in such a way that there are no clashes of films like this.
