Two new Telugu TV channels are launch today. These Channels NTV (News Channel) and Bhakti TV (devotional channel) are owned by Narendra Chowdary.

The launch took place at Gachibowli stadium on the evening of 30 August. This function was attended by Governor ND Tiwari, CM YS Raja Sekhara Reddy, Devender Goud (TDP), K Chandrasekhara Rao(TRS), Venkaiah Naidu (BJP), BV Raghavulu (CPM), Narayana (CPI) attended this launch.

ND Tiwari launched Bhakti TV, YSR launched NTV, Devender Goud launched DSNG vehicles, Venkayya Naidu launched NTV web site, KCR launched Bhakti TV website, Raghavulu launched NTV theme, T Subbirami Reddy launched Bhakti TV theme and K Narayana launched NTV SMS number.

Speaking on the occasion, NTV Chairman Narendra Chowdary said, “Media is playing a vital role in the development of the country. Our team is equipped with the ability to get the latest information and happenings around the world. We have eight DSNG vehicles in Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Karim Nagar, Kurnool and Delhi to get live broadcasts. There will be good analytical programs that explore and discuss various political issues.”

YSR said, “I wish that the TV channels launched today by Narendra Chowdary would become the best TV channels in the future. It is very important to have some spirituality in this hitech age. Bhakti TV is the first 24 hour dedicated channel in TV. All religions should be given equal importance in this channel. There are a few dedicated TV news channels in Telugu and people are observing their orientation. I wish that Narendra would take a neutral approach while running his TV channel. There should be difference between news and views. Views should not become news. I also expect NTV to restrain from sensationalism. The programs should help the society."
