It's Prabhas birthday today. The actor made his debut as heir of rebel star Krishnam Raju in 2002 with the film Eswar . It was his 3rd film Varsham that did the trick. It made him hot property among the masses and the youth. His film Chatrapati endeared him to the masses. Today Prabhas is the most macho-looking youth hero in Telugu films with a terrific height and extraordinary charisma. He has proved his talent with fine performances in Chakram and Pournami.

Current films:
Prabhas is currently acting in Munna (by Dil Raju) and Yogi (by VV Vinayak). Yogi will release on 9th of January 2007. Munna is slated for Sankranthi 2007 release. His next project is going to be by prolific director Puri Jagan in a film under Creative Commercials banner.

Down to earth personality
Prabhas remains a regular kind of guy unaffected by stardom. He shrugs off his star status with nonchalance and often his simplicity and down-to earth ways leaves the onlooker stunned. He has earned enormous goodwill in the industry as well as with his fans and of course the media thanks to his impeccable PR skills much like his uncle Krishnam Raju.
