The
total budget for all 8 films was Rs. 1,25,00,000 (approximately).
The total gross for all 8 films for the first 8 days in their
first release was Rs. 1,25,00,000 (approximately).
MANY
MILESTONE RECORDS WERE CREATED IN THAT YEAR.
Some
of them are:
1. 1975 is the first year in which a hero acted in 8 color
films in a single year. (Previous record was 6 color films
in one year. That is also held by Shobhan in 1974). Among
8 films, 4 films are mass films and 4 films are class films.
Also among these 8 films, four films are on heros title
role and the rest are general titles.
2.
1975 is the first year in which a hero acted in 4 color films
in a year on title role (Babu, Jebudonga, Gunavanthudu, Soggadu)
3.
All 8 films had direct 50 days run in at least one center
in the state. As a single hero, this is an all time record
(a hero should at least act in 7 films in one year). This
is an everlasting record among color films.
3.
All 8 films had minimum respectable run in at least 15 centers
each which is an everlasting record among color films.
4.
Seven films had minimum respectable run in at least 20 centers
each which is an everlasting record among color films (except
Gunavanthudu all others).
5. A heros 6 color films had 100 days run in a year
which is for first time in telugu film history.
6. Shobhan is the first hero to have 6 100 days films in one
year in Hyderabad (Devudu Chesina Pelli, Babu, Jeevana Jyothi,
Balipeetam, Jebudonga, and Soggadu).
7.
Shobhan is the first hero to have 6 color 100 days films in
Vijayawada (Devudu Chesina Pelli, Babu, Jeevana Jyothi, Balipeetam,
Jebudonga, and Soggadu).
8.
Five films had direct 100 days run in at least one center
in A.P. which is an all time record as a single hero as far
as color films are concerned.
