The producers of Diary arranged a press meet with Yandamuri Veerendranath. He acted in a special role in recently released Diary.

About acting:
There were requests for me to act in films like Abhilasha and Challenge in the past, but I refused. I did a small yet vital role in Diary. I am also approached by Sai Kiran Adivi to do a role of a husband of a fat lady in Village Lo Vinayakudu film. I don’t want to get regular in acting as it will affect my Vidya Veetham. I started this Vidya Peetam with a corpus fund of 1 crore and there are fifty student studying in my Vidya Peetham for free.

About Diary:
I liked Mantra film and could not say no when the same team approached me to act in a key role. I did the role of a writer in Diary. I have not seen the film, but getting feedback that the film is good. Director M Rama Krishna did a great job of directing the movie. He also prepared a storyboard for the movie. The makers erected a huge house set on the beach where one can see the sea from the window. It shows the class taste of the director.

About personal Diary:
I have been writing diary regular since 1963. My writing is so wired that even my wife wouldn’t understand it. I might write an autobiography at a later point of time. I liked the way Devanand has written his autobiography ‘Romancing with Life’.

Not much into watching movies:
I hardly watch movies. The last impressive film I saw was Gamyam.
