Audio of Lawrence’s latest bilingual film ‘Muni’ with Vedika as heroine was launched today at a function held in Rock Castle, Hyderabad. Manyam Ramesh produces the Telugu version. Supreme music bought the audio rights and Ramani Bharadwaj composed music.
This function was attended by Nagarjuna, K Raghavendra Rao, ML Kumar Chowdary, S Gopal Reddy, Lawrence, Vedika, Manyam Ramesh, Saran, KV Guhan, Mohan Mahendra and Kamna Jetmalani.
Nagarjuna launched the audio and gave the first unit to K Raghavendra Rao.
Speaking on the occasion Lawrence said, “I would like to thank Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna for the position I am in today. It was Saran who made me a popular artist by picking up from a group of dancers. Though he is a good director, he became producer and asked me to direct the Tamil version. My father is Telugu and mother is Tamil. My friends complained that I am always doing Telugu films. My mother asked me to do a Tamil film. I did Muni to make my mothers wish come true. I would like to thank Manyam Ramesh to produce it in Telugu.”
Guest Nagarjuna said, “Lawrence directed my Mass film and now is directing my Don film. He is a good human being. I wish that this bilingual film will become big hit in both Telugu and Tamil languages.”
Tamil producer Saran said, “I am feeling proud to represent myself as a producer than a director. I made Lawrence do a song in my Tamil film Amarkalam long back. He has proven himself as choreographer, director and as an actor. I am producing Tamil version and Manyam Ramesh is doing Telugu version. I wish that Telugu version will become a bigger hit than Tamil.”
Actress Vedika said that Lawrence extracted good performance from her. Manyam Ramesh gave the vote of thanks.
