Audio of Prabhas’s latest film Munna was launched at a function arranged in Annapurna studios on the night of 23 March. Allu Arjun, Bhaskar (Bommarillu) and Sukumar graced this occasion as guests. Harris Jayaraj composed music. Vamsi Paidipally is making his debut as director. Dil Raju is producing this film after delivering continuous successes. Supreme music bought the audio rights.
Bhaskar released the audiocassette and gave the first unit to Sukumar. Allu Arjun released the audio CD and gave the first unit to Prabhas. Krishnam Raju released the brochure of Munna and gave it to Allu Arjun.
Speaking on the occasion Krishnam Raju said, “This function looks like a 100 days function. I am sure that Munna will become a silver jubilee film. I missed all excitement in films by entering politics. Prabhas will continue my legacy. Prabhas has exceeded me in terms of image. This will be another success for Dil Raju.”
I wanted to do Arya with Prabhas - Dil Raju
Dil Raju said, “It is because of my directors I am able to achieve consecutive successes. Team work and the encouragement from audience is important for success of any film. At the time of Eswar itself I expected that Prabhas would be the right inheritor of Krishnam Raju’s legacy. I wanted to do Arya with Prabhas. But his body language did not suit the character. Munna satisfied my wish to make a film with Prabhas. I am sure that Munna will be fifth successful film from our banner. The six production in our banner is going to be in the combination of Bhaskar and Allu Arjun. Munna will be another musical hit.”
Prabhas said, “I wish that Munna will be success because it is coming from good banner and a good team. We tried something different in this film and I hope that audience would encourage us.”
