Tamil blockbuster 'Kadal Kondein' is being remade into Telugu with Allari Naresh, Veda and Abhishek in the main leads. E Satti Babu - director of Ottesi Chebutunna & O Chinadaana - is directing this flick. Vidya Sagar scored music. Mullapudi Brahmanandam is producing this film.

Audio of this film was released in a function arranged at Padmalaya today evening at 7:30 pm. Venkatesh was invited as chief guest. Other guests of the function were M Shyam Prasad Reddy, KS Rama Rao, KC Sekhara Babu, Arjuna Raju, EVV Satyanarayana, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Sirivennela. Chalapati Rao anchored this event. Surya Music has bought the audio rights.

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said that it is nice to see a Telugu girl like Veda entering Telugu film industry when Hindi heroines are ruling the roost.

Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry said that there is novelty in the storyline of 'Nenu'. This film would be a trendsetting one. Sirivennela said that this film shows the mental struggle of a youthful guy who is an orphan. He said that Allari Naresh is lucky to get this role.

Hero Venky said that the songs of this film have good visuals. He professed that this film would become a turning point for Naresh's career. He predicted that Nenu would become a good hit.

Venkatesh released the audio and gave the first cassette to hero Naresh and heroine Veda.

EVV Satyanarayana said that he saw 'Kadal Kondein' on 2nd day of its release in Chennai. He wanted to buy the remake rights, but came to know that Editor Mohan has already bought the Telugu remake rights. EVV could not ask Editor Mohan for the rights as it is not fair. After 30 days, hero Venkatesh mentioned to EVV that this film would be a suitable one for Allari Naresh. Then EVV went to Editor Mohan and asked for the rights. And he transferred the rights immediately. Yuan Shankar Raja scored music for tamil version. EVV said that Vidya Sagar has scored better songs for Telugu version. Like the film 'Chanti', the songs in this film also have all situational songs.

E Sattibabu said that Vidya Sagar scored music for his two films - O Chinadaana and Ottesi Chebutunna. He expressed his euphemism that the songs of Nenu would make it a hattrick.

Nenu is all set to hit the marquee on 15th of April 2004.
