Rajamouli
said in an interview to idlebrian.com that Charapati
is primarily a mother-sentiment film. Audio cassette
of this film was released on 14th of this film and
met with huge success. Audio CD release function was
arranged in Rama Naidu studios. Mothers of the cast
and crewmembers were invited to do the honors.
Siva
Kumari - mother of Prabhas - released the audio CD
and handed it over to Prabhas. Raja Nandini (mother
of Raja Mouli) and Valli (sister-in-law of Raja Mouli)
gave an audio CD to Rajamouli. Vijaya Lakshmi (wife
of producer Bhogavally Prasad) gave an audio CD to
her daughter Padma. Radha (aunt of Keeravani) handed
over the CD to Keeravani.
Producer
Dil Raju was invited as special guest. He said that
he saw a song in this film which is as mass as 'Cheema
Cheema' song of Simhadri. Keeravani used different
kind of voice for ABCD song in this film and he explained
the concept of ABCD in his own inimitable style.
Hero
Prabhas said that he is feeling good to have his mother
released audio CD. This film would have all ingredients
in addition to mother sentiment, he added.
This
function was also attended by Vijayendra Prasad, Ratnam,
Shafi, ML Kumar Chowdary, Pawan (Maruthi music). Maruthi
music bought the audio rights of this album.
