Konda (37) - upcoming director who made his debut with Ninne Istapaddanu - was expired on 6th of December due to cardiac arrest. A condolence meet was arranged in Film Chamber to pay respects to Konda. KL Narayana, B Gopal, Raja, Rajiv Kanakala, Siva Balaji, Nagababu, Saloni, Kota, Krishna Bhagawan, VN Aditya, O Kalyan, Nixon and Bhaskarabhatla were few among the celebrities who attended to pay their respects. Lyricist Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar opened the meet with a poem written on Konda.

Dr KL Narayana who introduced Konda as director with Ninne Istapaddanu said, "I introduced Konda to film industry as director. He was a sensitive guy who prefers to be non-controversial. Personally, he is like a gem of person. It was an untimely death for him at such a young age."

Hero Raja said, "Konda is a passionate filmmaker who thinks about film all the time. He was also a very responsible and caring man. The entire unit of Clean Bowled would be available to help the family of Konda."

Rajiv Kanakala said that it was like a personal loss to him as he acted in both Ninne Istapaddanu and Clean Bowled directed by Konda. Actor Siva Balaji said that he knew Konda over a period of 4 months.
