Production No. 1 of Sri Pavana Sutha Films, starring Rajiv Kanakala and Aishwarya Durgal (debut heroine), is launched today at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad. The flick is produced by Uppala Ramesh and Gogineni Sambasiva Rao. Direction is by V. Kishore (a debutant). The unit arranged a press meet after the launch formalities.

Hero NTR sounded the clapboard in the backdrop of Lord Vinayaka temple at the studios premises. Dr. KV Krishna Kumari switched on the camera, while SS Rajamouli did the formal first shot direction.

Rajiv Kanakala said: "For the first time, I am straight doing a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. While all my previous films had the budgeting below Rs. 2 crore, this new film is coming up with big budget. I am surprised at the confidence levels of the producers and director. On the lines of Bollywood films Dhoom, Race and Tashan, this film is conceived to be shot in a stylized manner. It has a very strong plot. It is an action-packed film. The element of love is not given much importance but it will have its significant footage. The regular shoot will commence from tomorrow (October 10). The 20-day Mauritius schedule will be in November."

Kishore alias Krishna Chaitanya (director) said: "Previously I worked as Graphics visualiser with the Sony Pictures, Mumbai. I also had a happening stint with the Muktha Arts in Bollywood. We have excellent visuals and graphics in this film. I am thankful to Rajiv Kanakala for his acceptance of our film. Other than him, we have two more male leads – Arvind and Rishi Kumar (both debutants). The major strength of the movie is its different screenplay. We will be completing the shoot by December 5th. At any cost, we will be ready for the release on January 15th."

Aishwarya Durgal said: "I am from Mumbai and I did several ads in Mumbai. I am happy to be associated with Telugu film industry."

Nihal (Music director) said: "The film has a very powerful background score. Being an action-film, I have excellent scope for giving the best score. All the songs in the film are going to be situational."

Cast includes: Arvind, Rishi Kumar, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Sivaji Raja, Raghu Babu, Suman Setty, Satyam Rajesh, Kallu Krishna Rao, Raksha and others.
