Dil Raju has taken a big step forward getting two big heroes sign for a movie. Venkatesh and Mahesh are going to share the screen for the first time for the movie ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Srikanth Addala (Kotha Bangaru Lokam fame) is going to direct this movie. Pooja ceremony of this movie was held at the office of Dil Raju on the early hours of 6 October on the eve of Dasara. Both Venkatesh and Mahesh couldn't make it as they are out of station. Dasari, K Raghavendra Rao, Shyam Prasad Reddy, SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak and Gemini Kiran attended the pooja. Dasari sounded the clapboard. VV Vinayak switched on the camera. K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. SS Rajamouli handed over the script to the director.

Speaking on this occasion Dil Raju said, “Venky told me that he is willing to do a multi-starrer if there is a good script and he liked the script of SVSC. When I met Mahesh Babu recently, he enquired about my future projects and liked the title SVSC. I sent Srikanth to narrate the story. Srikanth has given a brief narraion for 15 minutes. Mahesh Babu got impressed and okayed the movie. Venkatesh and Mahesh will play the role of brothers. It's a family subject. The regular shoot will start in November or December. The movie will complete by May. We are tentatively aiming at summer 2012 release.”
