Tollywood biggies watch Kathanayakudu premiere
The premiere of Kathanayakudu (Rajnikanth's bilingual) was held tonight at Adlabs, Hyderabad. The premiere commenced at 10.05 PM. A big contingent of Tollywood personalities attended the premier. Prior to the opening, superstar Rajnikanth arrived at the venue and had a few seconds interaction with the media. He thanked the people of Hyderabad and Telugus in general for all their love and affection for him. Replying to a question about Kuselan (the movie's Tamil version) release in Karnataka, where a stir is going on there against latest releases of films of other states, Rajni said: "I am not interested in politics of that kind. I just want to limit myself to queries pertaining to the film," he said. Regarding the theme of the film, Rajni cut the ice with a single liner, saying it's about friendship.

Jagapati Babu and Meena (cast in Kathanayakudu), producer Ashwini Dutt, Allu Arvind and his wife, Nagababu, his wife and son, Meher Ramesh, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Jhansi, Saikumar, Gunnam Gangaraju, NV Prasad, EVV Satyanarayana, Chalapati Rao, Nitin, Krissh, pop singer Smita, Subbaraju, ML Kumar Chowdary and family, K. Venkateswara Rao (Allu Arvind brother-in-law), SV Krishna Reddy and Achireddy were among those who took part in the premiere.
