ANR - Thespian of Telugu Cinema - was invited as the chief guest to the press meet of MAA 'Tollywood Trophy'. The main aim of this press meet is to announce the color of cricket gear for 4 teams. Royal Blue, Yellow, Green and Sky Blue are assigned to the teams to be led by Bala Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh respectively.

Four more members were admitted into these teams. These members are Ramana (Bala Krishna), Bhoopal (Chiranjeevi), Raja (Nagarjuna) and Gowtam (Venkatesh).

ANR also unveiled the tickets of Tollywood Trophy. MV Chowdary of Sree Mitra Real Estate bought 10 tickets by paying Rs. 20,000/-. PV Reddy (Kurnool) also bought tikets. These tickets would be available from all E-Seva centers in Hyderabad. A hologram would be printed on these tickets to shown genuineness.

Speaking on this occasion ANR said that the profits made through this match would be used in various charity activities including (help for Tsunami victims, poor formers etc). ANR praised that activities like these would show the human values the Telugu film industry have.

The other celebrities who graced this occasion include Mohan Babu, Jaya Sudha, Paruchuri brothers, Mallikharjuna Rao, Srikanth, Tarun, Sumanth, Vishnu, Taraka Ratna, Rohit, Ravi Shankar, Sai Kumar, Brahmaji, Baladitya etc.
