Ram Gopal Varma gave me a free hand - director Vivek Krishna
Director Vivek Krishna said, “Bejawada is known for Krishna river and Godess Durga and they represent tranquility and ferocity respectively. You will see both these emotions in Bejawada movie. Bejwada has produced great human beings who brought lot of recognition to our state as well as bad people who thrived on rowdism. Bejawada is known as a cultural hub of Andhra Pradesh. One shouldn’t stretch the permissible limits - either on human beings or on the environment. The story of Bejwada is about what happens when your stretch the limits of a human being. Naga Chaitanya played the role of an angry young boy. We have worked hard on pre-production and planning as we had to shoot the movie extensively in Vijayawada. Ram Gopal Varma gave me a free hand after okaying the script. There are seven songs in this movie that are composed by five music directors. Five action choreographers worked for this movie.”
