Sushant’s latest movie Current is all set to release on 19 June. Producers Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao and Naga Suseela organized a press meet on this eve.

Producer Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao said, “We always wanted to promote Current in different ways. That’s why we made four of top directors of Telugu film industry release a song each. Nagarjuna released the title song. After watching promos, Seenu Vytla said that he could see the trace of Nagarjuna in Sushant. Puri Jagan commented that the hero is superb. Sekhar Kammula opined that the title song is very good. Sukumar felt that Sushant is highly energetic actor. We launched a contest for choosing the caption on the movie launch day and a car will be presented to the winner. The car presentation will take place during the 50 days function of the movie. We are also planning a platinum disc function amidst public in Vijayawada in the second week of June.”

He also added, “We plan to release the movie on 19 June with 130 prints in 150 theaters. Dil Raju bought Vizag rights and D Suresh Babu bought Nizam rights. Usha Pictures acquired West rights. Hari is distributing for Vijayawada and Nellore. Mahesh is doing it for Ceded.”

6th song to be added – Sushant
Hero Sushant said, “The initial bunch of CDs has only 5 songs. We are adding sixth song now and the next bunch will include 6th song as well. I am getting lots of phone calls from my friends abroad. They speak frankly with me and all of them opined that songs are excellent. I am a huge fan of Devi Sri Prasad and his music is a big asset to Curent. Producer Srinivasa Rao is coming up with novel way of publicizing this movie.”

Director Surya Pratap said, “There is unanimously good report about the audio of Current. The title created lots of craze for the film at box office. The title is apt for this love story. The costumes designed by Naga Suseela for Sushant are excellent.”

Producer also thank PRO and journalist BA Raju for giving them moral support.
