Manchu Monoj Kumar - son of Mohan Babu - was launched with Donga Dongadi in the year 2004. His 2nd film is going to be directed by Dasarath (of Santosham fame) and produced by Mohan Babu. A press meet was held on 14th March to announce the same.

Director Dasarath wanted to direct the first film of Manoj and came up with a story last year to Mohan Babu. This film would feature a debutant actress of 16 years old Tamanna in the female lead. Sandeep Chowta has already recorded a couple of songs. Satyanand has done script work. Gopi Mohan who provided screenplay for Santosham is providing screenplay for this film as well. This film would go to floors on 1st of April and would be extensively shot in locations like Hyderabad, Puri, Delhi etc. Paruchuri brothers are doing script consultancy for this film.
