Heroine Charmy celebrated her birthday on 17th May at the sets of Sravanthi Ravi Kishore's latest film with Sumanth as hero. Shooting of a song on Sriramanavami - penned by Sirivennela - is currently going on at a set erected in 7 acres of Annapurna. A pressmeet was arranged to announce the progress of shooting by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore.

This film is a love story between a rich college going girl and poor motor mechanic. Shooting of this film was start on 24th of March on the eve of Ugadi. Since then the shooting is going on at a brisk pace. 70% of the shooting is completed so far. The unit would be going to Germany, Italy and Austria for the shooting of 2 songs from 21st of May onwards. Audio would be released in the 1st week of July. This film is going to be released in August 2004.

Director BV Ramana said that he is hoping to come up with a blockbuster with this film. This film is a love story with mass orientation.

Sumanth said that the character in this film is very much different from the characters he donned in the past. This character offer many shades. Lots of improvements have been made to the Tamil original Thirumalai. There is a fire in this character which prefers speaking candidly.

Birthday girl Charmy said that she is doing the character of fashion designing student. And her character is cute and bubbly.

Koti expressed that this film has lots of score for music. He has scored 6 tunes for this film. He is happy for working with Sumanth
