Santosham film magazine that was flagged off by Chiranjeevi on 2nd August 2002 has completed one year of existence and celebrated it's 1st anniversary in style at Silpakala Vedika on 2nd August 2003. Nagarjuna and Dasari were invited as the chief guests.

Kondeti Suresh - the publisher and editor of Santosham - has spent 15 lakhs to make this function a memorable one. Never before an exclusive Telugu function saw exhilarating dances by Lawrence and Raja Sekhar (Dance master) using set properties, costly dresses and variety themes in any stage shows.

Thrilled by this kind of performances, Nagarjuna opined that Santosham should introduce Santosham awards from next year onwards. The damsels who danced their way to glory include actresses Rekha, Namitha, Charmi and Neha. The heroes who attended the function along with Nagarjuna are Srkanth, Uday Kiran, Tarun and Allari Naresh. The heroines who graced the occasion include Rakshita, Nikita and Laya.

Usha and Mallikharjun sang popular songs from their films. The highlight performance of the night is the 'Andhra Soda Buddi' by Raja Sekhar and Lawrence's dance that ended with his popular 'veena step'.

Actor Prakash Raj was felicitated on this eve for winning National Jury award.
