Following the titles of blockbuster films like Okkadu and Athanokkade, Srihari's latest film is titled as Okkade. G Adiseshagiri Rao announced the title and unveiled the logo of A Mahendra's latest film with Srihari as hero in the direction of Chandra Mahesh. On this occasion G Adiseshagiri Rao opined that producer Mahendra is one of very few producers of Telugu cinema who has everything in his control and he wished that Srihari should be making 4-5 films a year so that it would help industry in feeding more workers.

Producer Mahendra said that Okkade is a full length mass action film. Srihari is presented in this film in a variety style. Editing of this film is currently going on and the first copy should be ready by 1st of July. Director Chandra Mahesh performed beyond the expectations of producer. Mahendra said that it was Krishna who made more films by keeping cine workers in mind and Srihari should emulate Krishna by doing at least 6 films a year.

Hero Srihari said, "My first film as hero Police created a trend for small films. Okkade will create another trend of low budget well made films. Unlike my earlier films there would not be any gimmicks in fights. All action sequences are pretty naturalistic. Chandra Mahesh is a competent director'.
