Cinema Paradiso - exclusive DVD rental library launched P365 - a unique concept of one new release everyday for the next 365 days to come. P365 aims at making available new titles all through the year for the customers who are bored with new flicks.

Who else could be more proficient than the reigning star of South Indian film industry actor Vikram to launch this unique concept. He is here in the city to launch this project which will go on for a whole year to follow. Vikram launched P365 at 10:30 on 17th March 2006.

With the primary agenda of making meaningful films accessible to all, as a part of P365 cinema paradiso plans to dedicate certain weeks of the year exclusively to world cinema. For starters there will be works of eminent directors such as Majid Majidi, Mohsen Mkhmalbaf, Abbas Kiarostami which were till practically inaccessible other than in film festivals from now on will be available on cinema paradiso. Similarly an entire week will be dedicated to German, French, Russian, Japanese and Italian films that have earned rave reviews at various film festivals.

In an attempt to curb the piracy rampant in the film industry, cinema paradiso has direct tie up with the Hollywood Studios and will be bringing in titles prior to the release in USA. This way one can comfortably view the movies of ones own choice without opting for a pirated copy. For instance the award winning Capote, Paradise Now and popular titles such as Derailed, The Squid and Whale which are slated for release only on 21st March are available now in Cinema Paradiso.

Keeping in the mind of forthcoming summer vacations, cinema paradiso has an exclusive week dedicated to children films. In this week not only kids movies will be featured, but also educational material, interesting documentaries, wildlife series for children will be made available.

During the course of P365, cinema paradiso plans to introduce some of the special editions of popular movies. For instance cinema paradiso plans to release the special edition of Titanic which has over 4 hours of behind the scenes footage and what went actually into the making the saga. Similarly extended editions and special editions of movies such as Lords of rings, Lawrence of Arabia and many other titles will be launched during P365.
