Lakhotia Annual Ethnochic Extravaganza Fashion Show
Lakhotia Institute of Design Celebreted its annual fashion phenomenon with a sparkling new concept - an ethnochic extravaganza - Love India at Jrc – Convention ,Hyderabad. On the occasion, sultry models, sporting Fashion apparel designed by young designers, set the ramp on fire.
Along with "Catwalk" a Fashion Show, showcased For the first time the west ape the east as unveiled in this fashion fest will be silhouettes, fabrics and textures that are made in India. The thematic presentations that are showcased, inspired by the everyday life to the Indian Diva. It is India as seen by the youth of today who have an aspiration for a new developed India.
“Love India-The Annual fashion show is a atribute to Modern India, one that is tradition mixed with modernity. Mentored by the designer James Ferreira whose commitment to promoting the cause of Indian design sensibilities is seen in every one of his designs” said Ayesha- CEO & principal, Azhar-Chairman of Lakhotia Institute of Design.
“Love India Show,Initiated for noble cause in the name of Panah foundation is a charitable trust in the aid of women's empowerment,the elderly and the underprivileged, orphanages and cleanliness drives” they said on the occasion.
“As the students researched on the concepts they came with many innovative techniques of creating textures where they infused Kutchi mirror work with Pop Art, corset cholis inspired by Lingerie, fluid drapes , structures and above all a balance of design” they added.
Jury Members and Fashion Designers Archana Rao, Shrawan Kumar, Ramesh Demla, Cong walia –Bollywood Makeup Artist Best, Shreya Kishore-Miss India ,Selected for Design collection,Surface ornamentation, Ramp appeal, garment construction, crafted collection, colour coordination, researched collection in Ten Categories.
The event, attended by the 'who's who' of the Fashion world as well as from the 'Page 3'circuit' Tollywood Celebs,Advi Seshu,Happy days Sonia, Bharath Shah- BNI, executive director .
