Noted writer ‘Diamond Ratna Babu’ is set for his directorial debut and it is formally launched on Friday. Young hero Aadi Saikumar is going to play the lead role in the movie which is titled ‘Burra Katha.’Writers from the Telugu film industry have graced the movie launch event as guests. Well known writer Paruchuri Gopala Krishna has clapped the board for the first scene shot on hero Aadi while lyricist and writer Shiva Shakthi Dutta switched on the camera.
Speaking on the occasion, ‘Diamond’ Ratna Babu said, “Really happy that my mentors and fellow writers have come to the launch of my directorial debut. I thank my producers on this occasion, for giving me top technicians for the film. As and when I narrated the script, hero Aadi Saikumar gave his nod and thanks to him as well for having the confidence in me. I’m introducing my team as screenplay writers with this film and hope they make a big name for themselves in the industry.”
Lyricist and writer Shiva Shakthi Dutta said, “Glad to have come for the launch event. I’m also penning a song in this film and good luck to the entire team.”
Hero Aadi said, “Thanks to the media for coming here. This is my third film in the year and I’m all excited about all the three films, especially this one. This is a fresh point and my role is quite challenging. Writer ‘Diamond’ Ratna Babu has come up with brilliant script and the dialogues are going to be very good. Also happy that the film has top technicians working for it.”
Producer Srikanth Deepala said, “This is our second film. ‘Burra Katha’ will definitely be a good film and bring a good name to my production house.”
The regular shooting of the film will begin from tomorrow while the female leads of the film are yet to be finalized and in a week time, they would be confirmed.
