Nagarjuna’s Greeku Veerudu film is wrapped up today. The unit has arranged a press meet in Annapurna 7 acres. Here are the excerpts -

D Siva Prasad Reddy said, “The shooting of Greeku Veerudu is complete today. Nag looks like youngster in this movie. We plan to launch music in March mid week. I have a special relationship with hero since 1985. Nayanatara migled with us like a family member. Dasarath is an expert in mounting family oriented films. Thaman gave good music. Audiences will get involved in the movie right from the first reel. We will release the movie on 19 April”

Director Dasaradh said, “I am here today because of Nagarjuna as he encouraged me by giving me debut film Santosham. Producer Siva Prasad Reddy is a real filmmaker. Executive producer Vivek Kuchibhotla contributed a lot. Nagarjuna plays the role of a NRI who is also an event manager. Anil Bandari is very good with visuals. Ganesh has composed choreography for four songs. There is good response to Nag’s steps in teaser. Vishwanath’s role is going to be another highlight of the movie. This is the most entertaining film I have ever made.”
Greeku Veerudu is a family entertainer - Nagarjuna
Nagarjuna said, “Santosham is one of my best films which have got both box office success and awards. I have got rid of my beard for my next film Bhai though I would have loved to continue it. Dasaradh has made this film as family entertainer. There will be family emotions, youthful orientation and good music. Greeku Veerudu will become a good film for Kamakshi banner. It was me who hesitated to keep title Greeku Veerudu as it might raise wrong expectations. But Dasaradh and producer convinced me that it’s an apt title. Now I believe that Greeku Veerudu is the right title. There has been tremendous response to Greeku Veerudu trailer. My son Akhil called me and told me ‘what are you doing? My friends are telling me that you are looking young like them’. I am happy to get such compliments. Everybody worked hard and Thaman gave young and peppy music. Brahmanandam character is there throughout second half. MS Narayana roams with me in suits and Ferraris in movie. There is ample entertainment.”
