Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri on Sunday visited Hyderabad to interact with people and also to make few announcements on his film The Kashmir Files. He along with producer Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts production and few others went to Goddess Laxmi Temple located in Charminar and met few Kashmir people residing in Hyderabad.

Vivek then along with his producer interacted with people who’ve been backing his film. T BJP leader and MLC Naraparaju Ramchander Rao shared his thoughts on various issues including the most tragic and gut-wrenching genocide of Kashmiri Hindus on which the film is based on.

Then Vivek Agnihotri briefed the idea behind making the film and also avowed the importance of younger generations to know what exactly is happening in the country and the unreported story of genocide of Kashmiri Pundits.

“Nobody actually made a film on the killings, brutality and genocide of Kashmiri Hindus. I thought it’s very important to tell the story, so that younger generations know the history.”

Vivek Agnihotri stated that extensive research underwent which took long time for him to pen he script. He announced to start the film’s shoot in February and release it sometime this year.

Vivek made it clear that he won’t be taking any support from any politicians. “I walk alone and make the film on my own style.”

The director also has plans to write a book on the subject, after the release of the film.

Anil Sunkara, Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhota have come forward to support producer Abhishek Agarwal, director Vivek Agnihotri and the film.

Like how they have tweeted in support of the film when it was announced, they have come to meet him today to lend their support.

ప్రజలతో మాట్లాడటానికి, తన సినిమా 'ద కశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్' గురించిన కొన్ని విషయాలు పంచుకోడానికి ఫిల్మ్ డైరెక్టర్ వివేక్ అగ్నిహోత్రి ఆదివారం హైదరాబాద్ వచ్చారు. నిర్మాత, అభిషేక్ అగర్వాల్ ఆర్ట్స్ అధినేత అభిషేక్ అగర్వాల్, మరికొంతమందితో కలిసి ఆయన చార్మినార్ సమీపంలో ఉన్న లక్ష్మీదేవి ఆలయాన్ని సందర్శించారు. ఆ తర్వాత హైదరాబాద్ లో నివాసం ఉంటున్న కొంతమంది కశ్మీరీ ప్రజలను కలుసుకున్నారు.

నిర్మాతతో పాటు తన సినిమాకు మద్దతునిస్తున్న వ్యక్తులతో వివేక్ సమావేశమయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణ బీజేపీ నాయకుడు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ నారపరాజు రాంచందర్ రావు అత్యంత విషాదకరమైన, ఒళ్లు గగుర్పాటు కలిగించే కశ్మీరీ హిందువుల మారణహోమం సహా పలు అంశాలపై తన అభిప్రాయాలను పంచుకున్నారు. ఈ సబ్జెక్టుపైనే వివేక్ 'ద కశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్' చిత్రాన్ని తీసేందుకు సంకల్పించారు.

అనంతరం ఈ సినిమా వెనకున్న ఆలోచన గురించి వివేక్ అగ్నిహోత్రి క్లుప్తంగా తెలియజేశారు. దేశంలో సరిగ్గా ఏం జరుగుతుందో నేటి యువ తరాలు తెలుసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందనీ, బయటకు వెల్లడి కాని కశ్మీరీ పండిట్లపై సాగిన మారణహోమం కథను వాళ్లు తెలుసుకోవాలనీ చెప్పారు.

"కశ్మీరీ హిందువుల మారణహోమం, హత్యలు, వాళ్లపై సాగిన క్రూరత్వంపై సరిగ్గా ఎవరూ సినిమాలు తియ్యలేదు. ఆ కథను తెలియజెయ్యడం ముఖ్యమని నేను భావించాను. అప్పుడే యువ తరాలకు చరిత్ర తెలుస్తుంది" అని ఆయన చెప్పారు.

ఈ సబ్జెక్టుపై విస్తృతమైన పరిశోధనలు చేశాననీ, అందువల్లే స్క్రిప్ట్ రచనకు సుదీర్ఘ కాలం పట్టిందని వివేక్ తెలియజేశారు. ఫిబ్రవరిలో సినిమా షూటింగ్ మొదలుపెట్టి, ఈ ఏడాదే సినిమాని విడుదల చేస్తామని ఆయన ప్రకటించారు.

'ద కశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్' మేకింగ్ విషయంలో ఏ రాజకీయ నాయకుల నుంచి ఎలాంటి సపోర్టునీ తాను తీసుకోవడం లేదని వివేక్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. "ఒక్కడినే ఈ సినిమా కోసం నడుస్తున్నా. నా సొంత శైలిలోనే దీన్ని తీస్తాను" అని ఆయన తెలిపారు. సినిమా రిలీజయ్యాక, ఈ సబ్జెక్టుపై ఒక పుస్తకం రాయాలనుకుంటున్నట్లు కూడా వివేక్ చెప్పారు.

ప్రొడ్యూసర్ అభిషేక్ అగర్వాల్, డైరెక్టర్ వివేక్ అగ్నిహోత్రి తీస్తున్న సినిమాకు మద్దతునిచ్చేందుకు టాలీవుడ్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్లు అనిల్ సుంకర, టి.జి. విశ్వప్రసాద్, వివేక్ కూచిభొట్ల ముందుకు వచ్చారు. 'ద కశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్' సినిమా ప్రకటన వచ్చినప్పుడు దానికి మద్దతుగా ట్వీట్ చేసిన ఆ నిర్మాతలు, ఇప్పుడు హైదరాబాద్ కు వచ్చిన వివేక్ అగ్నిహోత్రిని కలుసుకొని ఆయనకు తమ సపోర్ట్ ఉంటుందని తెలియజేశారు.
