Actress Anjali sustained an electric shock while shooting for Tamil film Oor Suttri Puranam near Thiruporur today.

Anjali is currently working in Ravi Teja's Balupu in Telugu. She is awaiting the release of her next Tamil venture Vathikuchi opposite Dhileepan. The movie is produced by A R Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios.

Anjali is currently playing the female lead to actor-director Kalanjiyam for the movie Oor Suttri Puranam. Sadly she tripped on a live wire in the sets of the movies this morning and was literally thrown back.

She was rushed to caravan and given first aid. She was later rushed to a nearby hospital and given treatment.

The shooting for the movie stands cancelled.
