Baahubali 2 is the top Indian grosser in America now
Dangal holds the record for the top grosser in America till yesterday as it collected $12.369 Million in total run. Baahubali 2 has crossed it in just a week. Baahubali 2 gross includes USA and Canada territories and in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages together. Baahubali 2 has collected a gross of $12.28 Million by Tuesday. The Tuesday collections are more than 1 million, thanks to the various deals offered on that particular day in USA.

The contribution from IMAX screens for this film collection is expected to be between 15% to 20%. The IMAX version will be terminated after one week due to prior commitment to another film. However, the distributor is adding 60 more screens to reach wider audiences from Friday onwards.

Great India Films, who is distributing Baahubali 2 to America are already into profit zone though they have shelled out an unheard amount for distribution rights. With aggressive publicity and aggressive distribution strategy, they have made sure that each and every Baahubali lover is catered to and are squeezing every bit of dollar from the market!
