Chaitanya Dantuluri, who had earlier made Baanam, is now directing a film titled Basanthi. Brahmanadam's son Gautham is playing the lead role. The film's shooting has finally begun and the first schedule will be wrapped up by the end of the month. Basanthi is going to be a romance film and an action drama. Mani Sharma scores the music and Anil Bhandari is the cameraman.
