‘Gatham’ only Telugu film makes it to IFFI.Among the OTT releases inthe last three months, ‘Gatham’ was a sensational thriller. The filmmade by newcomers, was completely shot in the USA. The reviews forthis film were very positive too and audiences gave their thumps up.
Now the film has been picked for screening at International FilmFestival of India (IFFI). This is the only Telugu movie to getselected for this film festival and it happened under Indian Panorama
category.
The IFFI will be held from January 16th to 21, 2021 and will seeparticipation of 26 feature films and 21 non-feature films. Due to theongoing pandemic, the festival will be broadcasted online, for greaterpublic participation.
'Gatham' was directed by Kiran Reddy Kondamadugula and produced byBhargava Poludasu, Srujan Yarabolu and Harsha Pratap. The film hadBhargava Poludasu, Rakesh Galebhe and Poojitha Kuraparthi in the leadroles.
గతం’ మూవీ అరుదైన రికార్డును సొంతం చేసుకుంది. ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఫిల్మ్ఫెస్టివల్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాలో(IFFI)లోని ఇండియన్ పనోరమా కేటగిరీలో ప్రదర్శితంకానున్న ఏకైక తెలుగు సినిమాగా నిలిచింది. నవంబర్ 6న ప్రముఖ ఓటీటీఫ్లాట్‌ఫామ్ అమెజాన్ ప్రైమ్‌లో ఈ సినిమా విడుదలై సూపర్ సక్సెస్ అయింది.థ్రిల్లర్ కథాంశంతో కిరణ్ కొండమడుగుల దీనిని తెరకెక్కించారు.
భార్గవ పోలుదాసు, రాకేష్ గాలేభే, పూజిత కురపర్తి ఈ సినిమాలో కీలకపాత్రలలో నటించగా.. భార్గవ పోలుదాసు, సృజన్ యర్రబోలు, హర్ష వర్ధన్ప్రతాప్‌లు కలిసి ఈ సినిమాను నిర్మించారు. ఇక శ్రీచరణ్ పాకాల ఈ సినిమాకుమ్యూజిక్ అందించగా.. మనోజ్ రెడ్డి సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ చేశారు. సస్పెన్స్,ట్విస్టులతో సాగే ఈ సినిమా ప్రేక్షకులను విపరీతంగా ఆకట్టుకుంది. దీంతోఇప్పుడు జనవరి 17న గోవాలో జరగనున్న ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్ ఆఫ్ఇండియా ఫంక్షన్‌లో పనోరమా కేటగిరీలో ప్రదర్శితమయ్యే సినిమాగా స్థానాన్ని
సంపాదించుకుంది.
ఇంటర్నేషన్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాలో ఇండియన్ పనోరమా ఒక ప్రధానభాగం. బెస్ట్ ఇండియన్ సినిమాలను ఇందులో ప్రదర్శిస్తూ ఉంటారు. ఉత్తమభారతీయ సినిమాలను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు గాను 1978లో దీనిని ప్రవేశపెట్టారు.ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఉత్తమ భారతీయ సినిమాలను ఇందులో ప్రదర్శిస్తారు. ఇప్పుడుఒక కొత్త సినిమా అయిన గతంకు అవకాశం దక్కడం గొప్ప అని చెప్పుకోవచ్చు.
