Versatile film actor Jagapathi Babu while responding to the the Green India Challenge given to him by Actor Naga Showrya, planted saplings along with Rajyasabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, at his residence, Lodha Apartments, Kukatpally.

He felt that Global warming is because of reduction of Greenery and he stated that the simple step of planting saplings can avoid the major catastrophe.

He thanked Rajyasabha MP for initiating and taking foward GIC.

He asked every one to participate in the GIC and help in increasing Greenery, which is needed in every part of man's life.

నేల పచ్చగుండాలి – మనిషి చల్లగా బతకాలనే సదాశయంతో మొదలైన “గ్రీన్ ఇండియా ఛాలెంజ్” కు అపూర్వ స్పందన లభిస్తుంది. ఎవరికి వారుగా మొక్కలు నాటుతూ తమ స్నేహితులు, బంధువులకు ఛాలెంజ్ విసురుతూ “గ్రీన్ ఇండియా ఛాలెంజ్”ను ముందుకు తీసుకుపోతున్నారు.

ఇందులో భాగంగానే యంగ్ హీరో నాగశౌర్య ఇచ్చిన ఛాలెంజ్ ను స్వీకరించిన కుటుంబ చిత్రాల కథానాయకుడు జగపతిబాబు.. ఈ రోజు రాజ్యసభ సభ్యులు జోగినిపల్లి సంతోష్ కుమార్ తో కలిసి కూకట్ పల్లిలోని తన నివాసం లోథా అపార్ట్ మెంట్స్ లో మొక్కలు నాటారు. అనంతరం జగపతిబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ.. సమాజం పట్ల బాధ్యతతో, ప్రేమతో “గ్రీన్ ఇండియా ఛాలెంజ్” మొదలు పెట్టిన జోగినిపల్లి సంతోష్ కుమార్ గారికి నా ధన్యవాదాలు.

ఇది మన అందరి కార్యక్రమం. అందరం కలిసి “గ్రీన్ ఇండియా ఛాలెంజ్” ను ముందుకు తీసుకుపోవలసిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉంది. అదే భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు మనం అందించే కానుక. అందుకే నేను ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ఒక్కరో ఇద్దరో ముగ్గురో కాకుండా నా అభిమానులు, శ్రేయోభిలాషులందరు స్వచ్ఛందంగా ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొని “గ్రీన్ ఇండియా ఛాలెంజ్”ను మరింత ముందుకు తీసుకుపోవాలని కోరుకుంటున్నాను.
