Popular comedian and one of the best theatre actors - Jayaprakash Reddy dies of cardiac arrest today (8 September) at his residence in Guntur. He has been staying in Guntur since the pandemic started as there are no film shoots happening due to the same reason. He was born in Sirvel of Kurnool district in 1946. Though he has made film debut decades back, he has shot to popularity as the villain in Premante Idea. He has brought Rayalaseema lingo to the fore with his Rayalaseema dialogues. He has continued as a ferocious villain in films like Samarasimha Reddy and other Rayalaseema factionist based films. Then he has transformed into a terrific comedian. He was seen in a hilarious role in 2020 Sankranthi blockbuster Sarileru Neekevvaru. Telugu film industry has surely lost one of it's greatest actors. Om Shanthi!!
