Kajal Aggarwal is busy promoting her upcoming Hindi film Special 26 which will release on February 8. As a part of movie's promotion, in an interview, she was asked plenty of questions about her career in South. When she was asked who her favourite co-star in Telugu is, she replied, " In Telugu, I like Junior NTR. He is not only a good actor, but is honest. He is arrogant, but I still like him as arrogance is also a part of honesty." But her statement on the difference between Telugu and Tamil film industries caught a lot of people by surprise. "I prefer Telugu film industry as women are respected more than they are in the Tamil film industry. In Tamil cinema, they care only about their hero who is God. Of course, I don't give a shit and go and sit in my van," she said in the interview.
Soon after the interview was published, Kajal Aggarwal clarified about the statement on her social networking page and said, " I'm really disturbed today about how some people have interpreted my love for my work.. I have had great experiences in both Tamil and Telugu cinema and have 2 new Tamil movies which I'm going to start shooting for soon. Its sad when its made to look like I am making comparisons because people who know me know I have equal respect for both industries." Kajal is currently in Dubai to promote Special 26 along with Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Manoj Bajpayee. Neeraj Pandey has directed the film. In Telugu, she'll soon be seen in NTR's Baadshah.
