With the film’s visual promos and Aravind Swami’s look as MGR instantly adding up the distinctive values to the film, the makers have yet another attraction to bestow now. Yes, the new look of Kangana Ranaut as J Jayalalitha in her thirties as a young politician will be unveiled on February 24, 2020, marking the 72nd birth anniversary of Selvi J Jayalalitha.

Director Vijay says, “Madam Jayalalithaa has been an inspiration to many. Her life is a story that needs to reach millions and today being her Birth Anniversary we decided to make sure that we don’t miss honouring the legend by remembering her fondly. I must thank Kangana Ranaut for her sturdy dedication in breathing absolute life into the role. We are sure that her contribution will escalate the quality of the entire film to the best of its caliber.”

కంగనా రనౌత్ 'తలైవి' కొత్త లుక్

దేశంలోని కోట్లాది మందికి ఆరాధ్య నాయకి దివంగత తమిళనాడు మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జె. జయలలిత. ఆ లెజెండ్ కు నివాళిగా రూపొందుతోన్న బయోపిక్ 'తలైవి'ని తీర్చిదిద్దడంలో చిత్ర బృందం ఏ విషయంలోనూ రాజీ పడటం లేదు. ఇటీవల విడుదల చేసిన విజువల్ ప్రోమోస్, ఎంజీఆర్ గా అరవింద్ స్వామి లుక్ లకు వచ్చిన అనూహ్య స్పందన తర్వాత, ఇప్పుడు మరో ఆకర్షణను నిర్మాతలు సిద్ధం చేశారు. సెల్వి జె. జయలలిత 72వ జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకొని ఫిబ్రవరి 24న జయలలిత పాత్ర చేస్తున్న కంగనా రనౌత్ కొత్త లుక్ ను విడుదల చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ లుక్ లో యంగ్ పొలిటీషియన్ గా ముప్పైలలో ఉన్న జయలలితను చూడవచ్చు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా డైరెక్టర్ విజయ్ మాట్లాడుతూ, "అనేకమందికి మేడం జయలలిత స్ఫూర్తి. కోట్లాది మందికి ఆమె జీవిత కథ చేరాల్సిన అవసరం ఉంది. ఈరోజు ఆమె జయంతి. కాబట్టి ప్రేమగా ఆ లెజెండ్ ను గుర్తు చేసుకోవడం ద్వారా ఆమెను గౌరవించుకోవడాన్ని వదులుకోకూడదని మేం నిర్ణయించుకున్నాం. ఆమె పాత్రను ఎంతో అంకితభావంతో పోషిస్తూ, ఆ పాత్రకు జీవాన్నిస్తున్న కంగనా రనౌత్ కు నా థాంక్స్. ఈ సినిమాలో ఆమె భాగం కావడం అనేది దీని క్వాలిటీని ఎన్నో రెట్లు పెంచింది" అని చెప్పారు.

నిర్మాత విష్ణువర్ధన్ ఇందూరి మాట్లాడుతూ, "స్ఫూర్తిదాయకమైన కథలను చెప్పడాన్ని స్టోరీ టెల్లర్స్ గా మేం ఇష్టపడతాం. హిందీలో మా మొదటి సినిమా '83' తర్వాత, జాతీయ స్థాయిలో అలా చెప్పగల కథ 'తలైవి' అని మేం నమ్ముతున్నాం. ఎందుకంటే, అంతవరకూ మహిళా రాజకీయవేత్తలు లేని ఒక రాష్ట్రంలో తనకు ఎదురైన ఎన్నో అడ్డంకులతో పోరాడి, వాటిని అధిగమించి, ఆ రాష్ట్రానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి అయిన ఒక స్త్రీ గాథ ఇది" అని తెలిపారు.

తెలుగు, తమిళ, హిందీ భాషల్లో ఏక కాలంలో 2020 జూన్ లో విడుదలకు సిద్ధమవుతున్న 'తలైవి' చిత్రానికి విజయ్ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తుండగా, విష్ణువర్ధన్ ఇందూరి, శైలేష్ ఆర్. సింగ్ సంయుక్తంగా నిర్మిస్తున్నారు.
