Karthi is one of the very few Tamil actors, who command a great fan base in the Telugu states. All his movies, which were released in Telugu, did well. It goes without saying that Rakul Preet is the reigning queen of South at present. When both of them team up, the expectations would be generally high.

For the first time ever, Karthi and Rakul Preet paired up in the movie, 'Khakee'. They look very adorable as a pair in the trailer and the film has been riding high on expectations. This cop drama, based on some real incidents, has been the talk of the town ever since the trailer released. The well-packed trailer raised curiosity and the film is awaited. 

Though Tamil audiences have already seen Karthi as a cop, this is for the first time Telugu audiences are going to see the 'Oopiri' actor donning a Khakee. Rakul plays a middle class girl next door character in the movie. The pair is all set to woo the audiences. 

H Vinoth, who earlier directed a super hit film like 'Sathuranga Vettai' in Tamil, is the director of this movie. Umesh Gupta and Subhash Gupta of Aditya Music India Pvt Ltd are bringing the film to the Telugu audiences. 

The film is going to have a big release in Telugu and Tamil on 17th November.

ఈ జనరేషన్లో తెలుగులో అభిమానుల సంఖ్యను గణనీయంగా ఏర్పరచుకున్న అతి కొద్ది మంది తమిళ హీరోల్లో కార్తి ఒకరు. మరోవైపు రకుల్ కి తెలుగులో ఉన్న ఫ్యాన్ ఫాలోయింగ్ గురించి ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పనవసరం లేదు. ఇప్పుడు ఈ ఇద్దరు కలిసి నటిస్తున్న సినిమా `ఖాకి`. వీరిద్దరు కలిసి నటిస్తున్నారనే వార్త వెలువడినప్పటి నుంచి ఈ కాంబినేషన్ మీద ఆసక్తి మొదలైంది. ఆ మధ్య విడుదలైన టీజర్ను, ట్రైలర్ను చూసినప్పటి నుంచి సినిమా మీద కూడా అంఛనాలు మరింతగా పెరిగాయి. యంగ్ కపుల్ గా వీరిద్దరు తెరమీద చేయబోయే సందడిని చూడటానికి సినీ ప్రియులందరూ వేచి చూస్తున్నారు.

తెలుుగవారికి తొలిసారి కార్తి పోలీస్ యూనిఫార్మ్ లో కనిపించనున్నారు. వాస్త‌వ ఘ‌ట‌న‌ల ఆధారంగా తెర‌కెక్కిన సినిమా ఇది. భర్తే లోకంగా బతికే మధ్యతరగతి ఇల్లాలి పాత్రలో రకుల్ మెప్పించనున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే విడుదలైన స్టిల్స్ లో, అత్యుత్త‌మంగా తీర్చిదిద్దిన ట్రైల‌ర్‌లో వీరిద్దరి మధ్య పండిన కెమిస్ట్రీ కనిపిస్తూనే ఉంది. ‘చతురంగ వేట్టై` సినిమాకు దర్శకత్వం వహించిన హెచ్.వినోద్ దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన సినిమా ఇది. ఆదిత్య మ్యూజిక్ ప్రై లిమిటెడ్ ఉమేశ్ గుప్తా, సుభాష్ గుప్తా ఈ సినిమాను తెలుగులో అందిస్తున్నారు. ఈ నెల 17న తెలుగు, తమిళంలో విడుదల కానున్న `ఖాకి`లో కార్తి, రకుల్ జంట ప్రేక్షకులకు కన్నులపండువగా మారనుందనడంలో ఎలాంటి సందేహమూ లేదు.
